Heritage Days Little Miss, Junior Miss pageants seeking participants

Huntington County girls ages 5 through 12 are invited to take part in the Little Miss and Junior Miss Heritage Days Pageant this summer.

The pageant will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 7 p.m.
A mandatory orientation session for contestants will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary School. Girls must complete an application form during the orientation session and should be prepared for group photographs.

Appointments for individual pictures will be made on April 30 or May 2, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day, at Frederick's Photography.

An entry fee is charged and must be paid at the orientation session. Girls may obtain sponsorships from businesses and family members to cover the entry fee.

The Little Miss Heritage Days contest is open to girls ages 5 through 8. The Junior Mss Heritage Days contest is for girls ages 9 through 12.

Contestants will be judged on an interview, modeling and photogenic qualities. Each contestant will receive a participation trophy and a T-shirt.
