Quilt show at Forks of Wabash April 20-21

The annual quilt show will be held at Historic Forks of the Wabash, on April 20 and 21.

Show times are Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 21, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Cash prizes will be handed out to youth ages 12-18 and adults 18 and older in three divisions, hand quilted quilts, machine quilted and miscellaneous (wall hangings, table runners, purses etc.).

The event will feature three local quilt artists, Arlene Switzer, on Saturday, at 10:30 a.m.; Karen Eltzroth, at 2 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m., a tribute in memory of Susan Urshel.

Saturday's show will also include demonstrations on "10-Minute Table Runner," Paper Piercing" and a Make-It, Take-It table.

Throughout the weekend there will be a quilters garage sale as well and a quilt made by Bernice Enyeart, who has won both national and international awards, will be on display,

The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce will be drawing winners for one of 10 gift cards every hour.

There is a small cost for admission.
