Girls get invite to GS event May 18
Monday, April 22, 2013 8:26 AM
All Huntington County girls in kindergarten through high school are invited to attend "My Promise My Faith" on May 18 at the Huntington Catholic School Middle Building.
The day is sponsored by Girl Scouts of Huntington County.
Participating girls will explore their own faith, meet new friends and learn about the Girl Scout law. They will also receive a free T-shirt and a "My Promise My Faith" pin and booklet.
The event is free to all girls who live in Huntington County, thanks to funding from the United Way of Huntington County. In addition, those who are not currently Girl Scout members will receive free registration and free 2013 Girl Scout membership.
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. on May 18. Girls should enter Door 5 at the school, located off the parking lot adjacent to St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. Girls should bring sack lunches.
The session begins at 10 a.m. and will end after a parent presentation at 2:30 p.m.
To reserve a spot, contact Tonya Young at 504-2707 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
