Helping Paws to have anniversary open house
Monday, May 6, 2013 7:29 AM
Helping Paws Pet Haven will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary with an open house on Saturday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
January of this year marks the official 10-year anniversary.
There will be a meet and greet with other animal organizations, metal art and craft vendors, bake sale, raffle, door prizes, food and drinks.
The public is invited to come out and see the newly remodeled facility, done solely on donations and visit with the HPPH residents.
HPPH is an all-volunteer organization working on donations, adoptions and fund-raisers. Over the past 10 years HPPH has adopted over 1,100 cats and kittens and spayed and neutered over 100 cats.
The open house will be held at the facility's south location, at 2242 S. Marion Rd., Huntington.
