Historic Warren scavenger hunt evening of June 14
Monday, May 6, 2013 8:02 AM
The Historic Warren organization plans to test residents' knowledge about the community's history with a historic scavenger hunt on June 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents, clubs, businesses and anyone with an interest in Warren history are invited to participate. Four-member teams are open to all ages, but each team must include at least one adult. Each team will need to have a digital camera or a cell phone with a camera.
The scavenger hunt will begin and end at the Knight-Bergman Center in Warren. Teams will be given clues that will lead to various historic sites, all located within walking distance of downtown Warren. Each will take a group photo at each of the sites to earn points. Extra points will be awarded to teams who perform specific tasks at certain locations.
Teams will win prizes for locating and identifying the correct sites.
A per-person entry fee is charged. The entry deadline is June 7.
For more information or to volunteer for the event, contact Ruth Swanson at 750-1798 or email@example.com.
