Anderson graduates from Marine Corps boot camp in California

Nicholas J. Anderson

Nicholas J. Anderson graduated from Marine Corps boot camp as a reservist on May 3 in San Diego, CA.

He completed M16 rifle training, earning expert marksman status.

Anderson also participated in drill instruction and physical fitness training.

After completing the Marine Corps Crucible he was awarded the Eagle, Globe and Anchor pin confirming his status as a United States Marine.

He was also named Most Improved Recruit in his platoon.
He has returned to San Diego for combat training. Once finished, he will begin military occupation training.

Anderson is a Huntington resident and 2005 graduate of Huntington North High School.

He is the son of Mike and Cathy Anderson of Huntington.
