Boy Scout Troop 33 is partnering with A.C.E. Recycling to offer a free electronics recycling event on June 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd., Fort Wayne.
Items accepted at the event include, but are not limited to, laptops, flat panels, cell phones, computers, keyboard, fax machines, copiers, VCRs, stereos, cameras, gaming consoles, servers and hard drives.
A complete list of acceptable items is available online at www.acerecycle.com.
Individuals as well as businesses are welcome to drop off items at the event.
Anyone with a large number of items to recycle, or anyone looking for additional information, should e-mail Troop33FortWa firstname.lastname@example.org.
Although there is no set fee, the troop will accept donations for providing the service. A.C.E. Recycling will also pay the scouts a fee for each item collected.
The church is located at the corner of Homestead and Aboite Center roads.
