Taking open class adult exhibit entries

Entries are now being accepted for the open class adult exhibit to be held during the Huntington County 4-H Fair in July.
The exhibits, sponsored by the Huntington County Extension Homemakers, are open to any resident of Huntington County 18 years and older or any member of a Huntington County Extension Homemakers club.
The exhibits are open to amateurs only. Professionals are defined as those receiving $1,200 or more per year in a specific category.
Each exhibitor may enter one item per division. All items must have been completed after Aug. 1, 2012.
More guidelines are available in the open class brochure. There is a fee per entry. Registration fees and entry forms are due in the Huntington County Purdue Extension Office by July 8.
Late entries will not be accepted.
Categories include: fruit pies, cakes, cookies, candy, yeast breads, quick breads, coffee cake, processed jelly, jams or preserves, processed vegetables, fruits or soups, pickled foods, sewing, wearable art, jewelry, embroidery or crewel, needlework, counted cross-stitch, knitted items, crocheted items, scrapbooks, recycled items, fine arts, basic crafts, flower arrangements, woodworking, quilts, quilted items, amateur photography color, computer enhanced photography and amateur photography black and white.
