‘Friends’ to sponsor used book sale

On Wednesday, June 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale Preview will be held at the Huntington City-Township Public Library.
This preview is for Friends of the Library members only, however new members may join the Friends of the Library at the door.
There is a cost for membership and all members are entitled to receive two free books at the Preview Sale. Vintage books will also be offered in a silent auction; final bids must be in at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The used book sale will be held Thursday, June 13, through Saturday, June 15. Times are June 13, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; June 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon.
From noon to 2 p.m. on June 15, there will be a sack sale and bidding on vintage book closes. From 2 to 3 p.m., the remaining books will be given away free of charge, except vintage books.
The sale is open to the public.
The Friends of the Library welcome donations of gently used books and other items for the used book sale. Donations are being accepted at the Main Library, 255 W. Park Drive, through Monday, June 10.
