4-H Foundation scholarship awards

The Huntington County 4-H Foundation announces the recipients of two of its scholarships.
Alyssa Aughinbaugh, the daughter of Robert and Tiann Aughinbaugh, received the Huntington County 4-H Fair Association Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship for 2013, and Jackson Johnson, the son of Michael and Karen Johnson, received the Huntington County 4-H Leaders Association Indiana 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarship for 2013.
Aughinbaugh has been a member of Huntington County 4-H and the Hoosier Boosters 4-H Club for 10 years. She has been involved in the foods, food preservation, garden, goat, rabbits, sheep, swine and poultry projects for most of her 4-H career.
Aughinbaugh is also a sixth year Junior Leader and has served in different leadership roles within the Junior Leader program.
Johnson has been a member of Huntington County 4-H and the Pork Chop 4-H Club for 10 years. He has participated in the goat and swine projects during his entire 4-H career.
Scholarships are for graduating high school youth involved in 4-H who are planning to further their education.
