JeFFFest, the community event sponsored by the LaFontaine Arts Council and Four Corners Custom Framing, is scheduled for June 23 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Huntington

This year's festival features a live art auction.

Three area artists, Cheryl Alevizon, Cherie Droege and Curtis Jarrett, donated paintings on 16x20-inch canvases. These works will be unveiled the evening of JeFFFest and will be auctioned off by Steve Ness of Ness Brothers Real Estate and Auction Company.

The silent auction of the professionally framed 5x7-inch canvases remains a mainstay of JeFFFest.

Those canvases are currently available for purchase at Four Corners Custom Framing during business hours. All completed works must be returned to the frame shop by June 14.

Local food vendors will provide the fun food for JeFFFest, and Eric Clancy Jazz, along with local group Lime City Jazz, will provide musical entertainment.

All proceeds from JeFFFest go toward the LaFontaine Arts Council's "Arts in Education" programming. The LaFontaine Arts Council and JeFFFest both have Facebook pages that feature information and photos.

For further information contact Debbie Dyer, executive director of the LAC, at 358-0055 or Paula Bittner, owner of Four Corners Custom Framing, at 355-0650.
