Local Red Cross announces 2 blood drives in Huntington

The American Red Cross of Huntington County announces two local upcoming blood drives.
On June 17, from 2 to 7 p.m., a blood drive will be held at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, in the main room. This is the Fallen Officer blood drive.
The church is located at 1000 Flaxmill Rd., Huntington.
A blood drive will be held at the Knight-Bergman Center, in Warren on June 20, from 2 to 6 p.m., in the main room.
The center is located at 132 S. Nancy St., Warren.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in Indiana and Ohio), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
A Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID is required before blood donation.
