Two jazz groups to perform at this year’s JeFFFest
Thursday, June 13, 2013 7:40 AM
Eric Clancy Jazz, of Fort Wayne, and local group Lime City Jazz will provide music for this year's JeFFFest.
The event is sponsored by the LaFontaine Arts Council and Four Corners Custom Framing.
It is held each year in downtown Huntington, on Jefferson Street, at the close of Huntington's Heritage Days celebration.
This year the festival will be held on Sunday, June 23, beginning at 6 p.m.
Eric Clancy Jazz is making its fifth appearance at JeFFFest.
Ross Whitacre will lead Lime City Jazz, a group comprised of current and former Huntington North High School students.
Each group will perform separately and, for the first time in JeFFFest history, will combine to present a few selections.
Music will begin at the start of the festival.
Tables and chairs will be set up, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating.
Also offered during the festival will be fine art at silent auction and food from local vendors.
For more information contact LaFontaine Arts Council Executive Director Debbie Dyer at 358-0055 or Paula Bittner, owner of Four Corners Custom Framing, at 355-0650.
