Farmer’s Market on July 6
Thursday, June 20, 2013 7:30 AM
Central Christian Church, in Huntington, will be hosting a farmers' market on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon, beginning July 6 and ending Aug. 31.
Anyone is invited to sell fresh, whole produce that they may have in excess to families of the community. No canned or baked goods will be allowed to be sold.
There is no fee for vendors, but they must provide their own canopy, table and chairs. No electricity will be available.
Vendors are asked to arrive by 7:45 a.m. to set up along the grass bordering MacGahan Street. Vendors may participate in one or all of the Saturday mornings.
This opportunity is being offered so that families in the community have a place to obtain fresh produce and local produce growers have an outlet for the sales of extra product.
Call 356-6425 for more information.
