The Historic Forks of the Wabash has been named the Category B winner of the Heritage Days Window Display Contest.

The winning display is located in a window at 232 N. Jefferson St. loaned by Vivian Barton. It features silhouettes of Miami dancers awaiting the arrival of the train carrying their big drum.

Windows in the contest reflected the 2013 Heritage Days theme, "Steamin' Into Huntington."

Second place in the division went to Northview Inn and Suites, 2820 Hotel Ave. The third place winner is the Boys & Girls Club, using a window at Lake City Bank, 1501 N. Jefferson St.

Category B includes mostly non-retail organizations.

The first place winner will have its name added to a traveling plaque, which will be displayed by that organization until next summer's contest. The winner also received a $50 Huntington County Chamber gift check courtesy of Pace Chevrolet and Renz Carpet Cleaners.

The contest is organized by the Huntington County Visitor and Convention Bureau.
