Antiqology adds soda and ice cream with move to new downtown location
Thursday, June 27, 2013 8:28 AM
Antiqology opened its doors at a new location on Friday, June 21.
The owners, Adam and Rebecca Hanson, had originally opened their antique store at 528 N. Jefferson St., in Huntington. Now they are located just down the street, at 401 N. Jefferson St.
The move came about after the duo won Huntington County Visitor Bureau's business plan contest this spring. With the win, the store moved to its new location, which it will use rent-free for one year.
The Hansons completely remodeled the location, turning it into a retail store that sells not only antiques, but also vintage, handmade and repurposed items, as well as vintage sodas and hand dipped ice cream.
The store's regular hours are Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m.
For more information visit antiqology.com, call 200-1065 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The store can also be followed on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/Antiqology.
