Teen bands featured at Roanoke’s First Friday

Two teen bands will provide the entertainment for the First Friday Street Fair in downtown Roanoke on Friday, July 5.

Featured bands are Pace of Change and Barking Greene Lamms.

First Friday Street Fair activities will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening includes carnival games with prizes, food for sale and a hula hoop contest and cake walk.

La Dolce Vita will offer crepes, The Emporium will serve Wagyu burgers and barbecue beef sandwiches and Moose and Mollie's will grill hot dogs and Italian sausages.

Many downtown Roanoke businesses will be open.

Powers of One will host a free community yoga class from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Those attending may bring a donation for the Roanoke food bank, but a donation is not required to attend.
