School corporation continuing to serve free lunches to children

The Huntington County Community School Corporation is continuing to serve free lunches to children 18 years and younger at more than a dozen sites around Huntington County.
Breakfast is also available at several locations.
No registration is necessary. Children can simply show up at one of the sites during meal time.
Locations and times for the remainder of the summer are:
Through July 12
Andrews Town Park, lunch from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Carriage Place Apartments, lunch from 12:05 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Laurie Park, lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
Elmwood Park, lunch from 11 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Through Aug. 1
Huntington North High School, breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.; lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
Parkview Huntington Family YMCA, breakfast from 8 a.m. to 8:20 a.m.; lunch from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Horace Mann Education Center, breakfast from 8 a.m. to 8:10 a.m.; lunch from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Memorial Park, lunch from 11:35 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.
Gen. Slack Park, lunch from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Drover Park, lunch from 12:05 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The program has been in place for about five years. The United States Department of Agriculture funds the program.
