Fandana Festival to feature Welch
Thursday, July 18, 2013 7:23 AM
Brian "Head" Welch, formerly of KoЯn, will perform at Huntington University's Fandana Festival this year with his new band, Love and Death.
Fandana returns for its third year Aug. 2 to Aug. 4 on Huntington University's campus.
Fandana began in 2011. This year's festival will feature 30-plus bands, comedians, kid's activities, a film festival and more.
Love and Death began in 2012 after Welch's long career in the alternative metal band, KoЯn. He has since written the books, "Save Me from Myself: How I Found God, Quit KoЯn, Kicked Drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story" and "Stronger: Forty Days of Metal and Spirituality."
Welch also will share his incredible journey at Fandana during a special talk.
