Fall Fest show features tribute to country legends Cash and Cline

Singing duo Shade 'N' Shannon have joined the entertainment lineup for the Roanoke Fall Festival.
Henry Phillips and Shannon Persinger will perform a two-hour tribute to country music legends Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline on Sept. 6, beginning at 6 p.m., on the free stage under the Main Tent at Roanoke Park. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Cash's death and the 50th anniversary of Cline's.
Phillips and Persinger have performed as Shade 'N' Shannon at festivals and events throughout the Midwest.
Phillips is vice president of Fort Wayne Newspapers.
Persinger, of Fort Wayne, has been performing as a vocalist for more than 15 years.
