Second grade students Chad McGroeder (front right) and Kayley Williams (front left) and Guidance Counselor Mindy Reust (back right) accept a check from Deanna Scott of Teachers Credit Union for the Lincoln Elementary School Lincoln Bookstore and Economy program. Students earn "Abe Bucks" for classroom and school-wide jobs, attending school each day and doing their personal best in schoolwork. Students are able to shop weekly at the bookstore that is supplied with goods, such as pencils, notebooks, crayons and services, such as lunch with a teacher, extra computer time, or reading with a special adult. Teachers Credit Union provides funding to schools throughout the year to enhance programs in each of the schools.
