‘Rockin’ for Riley Sept. 13 at Cottage Event Center

The Indianapolis-based band Klas will provide the entertainment at "Rockin' for Riley," a fund-raiser for Riley Hospital for Children to be held Sept. 13 at the Cottage Event Center, in Roanoke.

Klas performs '60s and '70s rock covering artists including Bob Seger, The Grass Roots, Neil Diamond, the Eagles, Steppenwolf and Tommy James and the Shondells along with '50s hits made famous by Elvis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and more.

Band members are Tom Zentz, bass and vocals; Steve Kennedy, drums and vocals; Nick Boulse, keyboards and vocals; and Dan Bourget, guitar and vocals.

Riley Hospital has more than 245,000 patient visits annually and serves pediatric patients from throughout Indiana.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Oley's pizza and salads, as well as various dessert items, will be available for purchase. A cash bar will also be available.
