Certified Firearms Instructor Paul Slavin will be providing a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Course to local residents Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Fraternity of Eagles in Huntington.
Slavin will educate firearm owners on carrying concealed firearms across state lines. He will focus on educating firearm owners of state laws and correct procedures to legally carry firearms from state to state.
The Utah Concealed Firearms Permit can be obtained by non-Utah residents and covers 36 states. This course provides knowledge of law, self-defense and firearm safety.
Slavin is owner and operator of Safe Shooting; both a certified Utah CPF Instructor and certified NRA instructor.
He has been providing courses throughout Indiana and Illinois allowing residents to conceal their firearms in more states.
Safe shooting also offers NRA certified Personal Protection and Pistol Courses.
