Invite participation in old-time banjo and fiddle contest at Pioneer Festival

Fiddle and banjo players are invited to enter the old-time banjo and fiddle contests to be held during the 2013 Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival.
The festival will be held on Sept. 28 and 29, at Hier's Park, with the fiddle contest set for Saturday at 2:45 p.m. and the banjo contest on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Each musician will be asked to play three tunes and may have one or two back-ups playing acoustical instruments, if desired.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants in each competition. The first 10 contestants will receive $25 for travel expense.
