LAC fashion show, auction will be held on Nov. 7

The LaFontaine Arts Council of Huntington County will present its annual fashion show fundraiser on Nov. 7 at the LaFontaine Golf Club.

The event includes a luncheon, a fashion show with styles from Chico's and a silent auction.

A social time will begin at 11 a.m. with the luncheon served at 11:30 a.m.. The silent auction will conclude at the end of the luncheon.

This year's Arts Advocate will be Karen Kennedy of Goshen. Originally from Huntington, Kennedy will share her vocal talent and dedication commitment to the importance of arts in education.

Rich Najuch and Joel Froomkin, owners of The
New Huntington Theatre, will emcee the event.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Arts Council's "Arts in Education Series," which annually provides arts programming to all students in grades K-12 in Huntington County.

This event and other events sponsored by the LaFontaine Arts Council are provided with support from Arts United of Greater Ft. Wayne, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
