The Huntington Community Strings announces its fall season schedule.
The group will be meeting every Sunday afternoon, starting Sept. 22 through Nov. 24.
Practice times are 1:30 to 3 p.m. in room 110 of the Merillat Center for the Arts at Huntington University.
Applications are being accepted at this time and registration will be held on Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon in the morning in the lobby of the Merillat Center.
It is pre-requisite that students have at least one year of formal training. Applicants from age 10 and up will be considered.
Scheduled performances and more information will be available at registration.
There is a fee for the semester, with a 25 percent reduction in cost for each additional family member.
The conductor this year will be YeRi Lee, a Music Business Major at Huntington University.
