Cancer survivor to speak at free wellness seminar

Cancer survivor Charles Miller will present a free wellness seminar on Monday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Miller will discuss alternative treatments for cancer. Testimonies will also be presented by people who have used alternative means for treating all types of cancer as well as other illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome, hepatitis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, AIDS and more. There will be time for questions.

Miller worked in the computer field for 36 years, retiring in 2002 to organize cancer support groups focusing on inexpensive treatment and wellness programs including diet and supplements. He has survived two melanoma surgeries and the removal of a kidney cancer.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 530 Guilford St., Huntington. The meeting will be held in the church's Fellowship Hall, and an elevator entrance is available on the west side of the church.
