LACE accepting applications for 2013 prevention grants

LACE (Local Anti-Drug Coalition Effort) of Huntington County is accepting applications for 2013 prevention grants.
Grants are available to any organization or department working to reduce the rate of drug or alcohol abuse or the use of tobacco in Huntington County. Grants are limited to $3,000.
One original application and six copies must be submitted no later than Oct. 15 to the Boys & Girls Club, PO Box 673, Huntington, IN 46750 or to the Youth Services Bureau, 1344 Maple Drive, Huntington, IN 46750.
Presentations for grants will be held the morning of Nov. 8.
LACE, the Huntington County arm of the Governor's Commission for a Drug-Free Indiana, provides education and preventative services relating to the abuse of drugs, alcohol and other substances in Huntington County.
