State awards Habitat over $15,000 in NAP credits for 2013

Huntington County Habitat for Humanity has been awarded more than $15,000 in Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) credits by the state of Indiana for the 2013 tax season.
With the NAP credits, anyone who donates $100 or more to the organization is eligible for a 50 percent Indiana tax credit. Those who itemize may also receive a federal deduction.
Donations made through Huntington County Habitat for Humanity through the NAP credit program must be reserved in advance and must include a completed NAP tax credit form.
