DCD seeks to start neighborhood association

The Huntington Countywide Department of Community Development is hosting meetings to get a neighborhood association started in a pilot area.

The next meeting will be held on Oct. 26, at 7 p.m., in the basement of Trinity United Methodist Church.

The area includes Harrison, Leopold, Wilkerson, Byron, Court, East Franklin, East Mar-ket, East Washington, Railroad, First, Second and Third streets and Woodlawn and Lincoln avenues.

The church is located at the corner of Guilford and Market streets.
