Tourism commission swears in 3 new members

Three new members of the Huntington County Tourism Commission were sworn in on Monday, Jan. 13, by Huntington County Clerk Kittie Keiffer.

Newly installed members, who will serve two-year terms, are Chad Cirullo, general manager of the Huntington Applebee's, and Marvin McNew, retired director of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services, both appointed by Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters; and Eric Harris, co-owner of Two EE's Winery, who was appointed by the Huntington County Commissioners.

New members Ruth Marsh, community volunteer, and Stephanie McKibben, owner of Paper Moon and Moose & Mollie's, in Roanoke, will be sworn in at a later date. Both are mayoral appointees.

Other members of the tourism commission are Jeff Berggren, senior vice president of enrollment management/marketing at Huntington University; Tera Garrettson; Kyle Jones, guest services manager of Holiday Inn Express; and Ruth Swanson, owner of the Court Yard Studio, in Warren.

Ellen Prange, Rich Najuch and Jim Scheiber are the retiring members of the tourism commission.

Tina Bobilya is the executive director of the Huntington County Visitor and Convention Bureau. The Visitors Bureau is located in downown Huntington.
