HU’s Friesen Center to hold its Service Emphasis Week Feb. 4-6

Huntington University's Friesen Center for Volunteer Services will host a Service Emphasis Week Feb. 4 to 6.
Throughout the week, students and community members will have the opportunity to get involved through several volunteer opportunities as well as hear how Huntington community members are serving.
Chapel speakers will include Dr. Norris Friesen, director of institutional effectiveness at HU, and students Luke Batdorff, Jason Wright and Abby Goering. Friesen will speak Tuesday at 10 a.m. The HU students will speak Thursday at 10 a.m.
At Wednesday's Ekklesia at 9 p.m., students from the India and Nicaragua mission trips will share their experiences.
Community members and students are also invited to participate in the blood drive on Feb. 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons on campus.
