French-Deal announces relocation of art gallery to new Roanoke site
Thursday, February 6, 2014 8:30 AM
Area award-winning artist Penny French-Deal has announced the relocation of her gallery, in partnership with Joseph Decuis.
The name of the new gallery, located at 171 N. Main St., in Roanoke, is The Gallery at Joseph Decuis, Exclusively Featuring the Art of Penny French-Deal.
"This transition brings exciting visions as I plan ahead for possibilities in this new space. The elegant and charming atmosphere of the cottage will provide a beautiful background for displaying my paintings," French-Deal states. "It will be energizing to play a part in the Joseph Decuis team; one that serves the community with an atmosphere of elegance and entertainment."
The public is invited to attend the grand opening of the gallery with an open house on Friday, Feb. 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Music will be provided by guitarist Kent Young.
French-Deal, of North Manchester, holds a degree in interior design from Indiana University and has studied at the Fort Wayne Art Institute. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Honeywell Foundation, Inc., Clark Gallery and A Renaissance in Roanoke. Her work can be found in numerous private, corporate, museum and university collections throughout the United States and Europe.
