Waggin’ Tails 4-H Club holds open house at Hier’s Park for prospective members

The Waggin' Tails 4-H dog club will hold an open house on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Building at Hier's Park, in Huntington.
Prospective members can learn about upcoming events, fund-raisers and community service projects. Alan Foster, of the Huntington Police Department, and his canine partner will present a demonstration.
The dog club will meet on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. now until May 29. Beginning June 5, members can attend either from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The month of March will be dedicated to helping first-year members work with their dogs. Other members will start attending club meetings in April.
The Waggin' Tails club will participate in a variety of parades and community events.
