Teams can help raise funds for HU scholarships in March 15 Bowl-A-Thon
Thursday, February 20, 2014 7:56 AM
Huntington University's Professional Programs will host a Bowl-A-Thon on March 15 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to raise money for student scholarships.
The event is open to the public. Teams are encouraged to enter and sponsors are welcome.
Bowl-a-thon teams must have five players with a minimum amount in pledges.
The fund-raiser goal is $25,000. This scholarship endowment is an ongoing fund to provide scholarships to HU's Professional Programs students.
The bowl-a-thon will be hosted by Rainbow Lanes, 850 S. Briant St., in Huntington, and is sponsored by the PINNACLE Honor Society, an honor society for adult students at HU.
For those interested in sponsoring a team or donating to student scholarships, contact Deb Burton at 800-600-4888 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
