The Forks of the Wabash Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is offering two scholarships worth $2,000 funded through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund to two deserving area female students.
Each year, local chapters of ABWA provide Stephen Bufton Memorial Scholarships (SBMEF) to female students who will be attending accredited U.S. colleges, universities and community or vocational schools.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States and residents of Huntington County.
They must be entering or attending a college or university in August 2014. The college or university in question must offer a minimum of a baccalaureate degree and be accredited, licensed or state approved.
Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Eligible women interested in applying for the scholarship should contact Jean Wright, professional development chair, Forks of the Wabash Chapter, at email@example.com.
Applications must be completed by March 31, at www.sbmef.org.
A minimum of three eligible applications are required in order for the scholarship to be awarded.
The scholarship recipient(s) will be notified in May.
