Questa offers forgivable loans for college students
Thursday, February 27, 2014 7:45 AM
The Questa Education Foundation is accepting applications from high school seniors and college freshmen for low-interest forgivable loans to assist with their college expenses.
Questa Scholars may borrow up to $10,000 to seek a certificate or associate's degree or $20,000 for a bachelor's degree. The loan may be used to offset college tuition, fees, books and living expenses.
If the student chooses to live and work in northeast Indiana after graduation, the Questa Foundation may forgive up to 50 percent of the loan.
Questa Scholars can receive an additional 25 percent forgiveness of the loan if they attend a partnering school, including Grace College, Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana Wesleyan University, Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne, Manchester University, Trine University or the University of Saint Francis.
Applications are available online at www. questafoundation.org. Applications will be accepted from March 1 through the May 1 deadline.
