Innovation Center to be showcased at HU Foundation breakfast March 12

The Huntington University Foundation will feature a program on innovation and student ventures at its next breakfast on March 12.

Karl LaPan, president and CEO of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), will share his insights into the role that NIIC plays in equipping the next generation of student entrepreneurial leaders through its Student Venture Lab program.

HU junior film production student Matt Burris will discuss how the NIIC has helped him with the challenges and opportunities of launching a business as a film producer.

The foundation breakfast is open to the public. It will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons at Huntington University and conclude by 9 a.m. First-time attendees eat free courtesy of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
