4-H offers variety of award trips this summer

4-H members in grades seven to 12 have the opportunity to attend a variety of 4-H award trips this summer.
To be eligible for the trips, 4-H members need to fill out a 4-H Awards Trip Application available at: www.extension.purdue.edu/huntington or by going to the Huntington County Extension Office in the County Courthouse Annex, 354 N. Jefferson St., Suite 202, Huntington.
4-H members in grades seven, eight and nine have the opportunity to attend 4-H Round-Up at Purdue University from June 23 to 25.
Award trips available to 4-H members in high school include: Science Workshops at Purdue University from June 11 to 14; State Junior Leader Conference at the University of Indianapolis from June 17 to 20; or State Fair Youth Leadership at the Indiana State Fair from July 29 to Aug. 2.
Any youth in grades nine to 12 can attend the State 4-H Band or State 4-H Chorus Workshop.
An award trip application needs to be completed for these trips also.
Youth ages 15 and older also have the opportunity to work at the Indiana State Fair as an Exhibit Hall Worker. A separate application is required and is available on the website or at the Huntington County Extension Office.
The 4-H Award Trip Application is due to the Extension Office no later than Tuesday, April 1.
