Sheriff Terry Stoffel (right) gets some attention from Queenie, a shelter rescue dog who accompanied her owner, Geoffrey L. Guy (center), to the Huntington County Sheriff's Department on Monday, March 17. Guy and Queenie delivered a donation in memory of Guy's father, George Guy, to Stoffel and Chief Deputy Chris Newton (left) to be used in support of the department's police dog. George Guy founded the 4-H dog program in Huntington County in 1959 and remained active in the program until shortly before his death in 1996. He had also been involved in police dog training in Allen County.
