Huntington resident Jones, WWII photo work featured in Legion mag

Huntington resident Bill Jones, who served as an aerial photographer in the Army Air Corps during World War II, is featured in the March issue of the American Legion Magazine.

The article focuses on Jones' photographs documenting the effects of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He eventually donated the photographs to the Smithsonian Institution's Air and Space Museum but retained digital copies of the photos.
