Scout projects offered at Salamonie Lake May 10

A day designed especially for scouts, but open to everyone, will be held May 10 at Salamonie Lake.

"Dig-IN to Scout Projects" is a special program within the lake's Second Saturday series.

Participants should meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Salamonie Interpretive Center, where Boy Scouts and American Heritage Girls will learn about first aid. Cub Scouts will work on map-and-compass and geography belt loops.

A fee is charged and registration is requested.

Upper Wabash Interpretive Services is at 3691 S. New Holland Road, Andrews.
