Junior Leaders to meet Thursday at Heritage Hall

The Huntington County Junior Leaders will meet Thursday, Oct. 9, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Heritage Hall, Hier's Park.

Officers will be elected for the 2015 4-H club year.
Officer positions include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, news reporter/photographer, health and safety officer, historian/photographer and recreation leader.

Any 4-H member in seventh grade or above who is interested in serving as an elected officer must complete an application form prior to the meeting. Forms are available in the Purdue Extension Huntington County office.

Members will also sign up to serve on committees for the 2015 club year.

The Junior Leaders will participate in the 2014 National Youth Science Day activity, designing and building an aerodynamic craft that can deliver food to victims of a natural disaster. Youth in all 50 states will participate in the same activity.
