Local 4-H robot gets national notice

A robot built by the Huntington County 4-H robotics club for the Huntington Police Department is featured in the 4-H program's national online newsletter.

"It is quite an accomplishment for Huntington County 4-H to receive this special recognition at the national level," says Linda Aldridge, Extension Educator for 4-H and Youth.

Eight members of the local 4-H FIRST robotics team used a $2,500 grant from United REMC to build a robot that could be used by police officers for target practice. The robot was presented to the police department in August.
