Ice Capades is theme of Salamonie IC camp for kids on Dec. 28-30

Salamonie Interpretive Center will hold a camp for youth ages 7 to 11 on Dec. 28-30, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

This year's theme is Ice Capades.

Campers will make homemade ice cream, play ice games, conduct ice experiments, discover "frogcicles" and learn about winter fish survival and ice fishing.

The camp features indoor and outdoor activities, movie time, snacks, crafts and games.

All camp activities are guided by interpretive naturalists.

Parents must complete health and participation forms.

A small snack will be provided, but children must bring a sack lunch with drink each day.

Space is limited so advance registration is required by calling 468-2127.

There is a cost per camper.
