City of Huntington Building Commissioner Shad Paul has been elected president of the Indiana Association of Building Officials (IABO) at its annual business meeting and educational conference held on April 14.

Paul holds certifications as both a commercial building inspector and residential combination inspector from the International Code Council.

He has previously held the positions of vice president, north at large representative and District 4 director and served on the Annual Business Meeting, Membership and Media, Code, and Education committees with the organization.
