Acting workshops to be held at Pulse in Warren

Two acting workshops are returning to the Pulse Opera House this September.

The first is Creative Dramatics for children 8 through 12 years old. Taught by Pulse Artistic Director Cynthia Smyth-Wartzok, the class is geared toward young actors, with exercises focusing on movement, imagination and teamwork.

Creative Dramatics meets Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There is a cost for the four sessions.

Stacia Brinneman is returning to teach Improv. This workshop is for high school seniors and up. On Oct. 3, the group will perform in the Pulse lobby following the performance of “The Foreigner.”

Improv meets Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There is a charge for the four sessions.

The Pulse Opera House is located at 127 Wayne St. in Warren.
