HU hosts math contest

Huntington University hosted approximately 200 students and teachers from 23 area middle schools on April 13 for the annual Huntington University Middle School Mathematics Competition.

The team competition was won by Discovery Middle School, in Granger.

Northridge Middle School, in Middlebury, won second place.

St. Joseph Grade School, in South Bend, took third.

In the individual competition, Seunghoon Sun, from Discovery Midddle School, won first place.

Second place went to Joey Garberick, of Northridge Middle School.

Wilson Wang, also of Northridge, placed third.
