April’s Second Saturday at Salamonie Lake, on April 15, will focus on fishing. The program runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Salamonie Interpretive Center.
Participants can practice their fishing skills and do a fish craft. Fishing equipment will be provided. Scouts may fulfill requirements for Bear Scout — A Bear Goes Fishing. There will be indoor and outdoor activities; dress for the weather.
This is an Indiana Free Fishing Weekend and no license is required. A small fee per participant is payable day of the event. Advance registration is required by calling 468-2127.
