Preschoolers at Salamonie will learn about Earth Day, recycling on April 19

Preschool-age children and their adults are invited to Salamonie Preschool’s “Earth Day and Recycling” program on April 19.

The class will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Salamonie Interpretive Center, in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area, Andrews.

Kids will participate in some park cleanup and make a craft from recycled materials.

Each Salamonie Preschool program is designed to enhance the preschooler’s basic education, including learning letters, making a craft, social interaction and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme.

There is a small program fee per child. Advance registration is appreciated by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.
